HR Generalist
Our client is a global technology and services solutions provider and part of one of the largest technology groups in the world with over 150,000 staff and revenues of more than 50 billion. Their business services division in Frankfurt is currently looking to hire a bright and ambitious HR Generalist.
In this role, you will act as the HR business partner for a group of c.180 staff from various departments such as technology services, sales and marketing. Reporting to the local HR director, you will drive local and global HR initiatives, adapting them as necessary to meet local requirements. As part of a small team, you will help define HR needs and shape future HR strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to management on all matters relating to day-to-day HR operations. Many of the managers are based in other international offices, so part of your remit will be to effectively communicate with these managers and ensure they fully understand German labour law, recruitment and development issues. You will also liaise with the various HR centers of excellence. In summary, you will work in a highly international environment to deliver an outstanding A-Z HR service to a group of highly talented and motivated staff. Working closely with the HR director, you will also deputise for them as appropriate.
Your profile:
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate at least 3 years experience in a similar generalist role. You will have a sound understanding of all German HR procedures and be comfortable working in an international matrix environment. In previous roles, you should also have gained solid experience in labour law and employment procedures in Germany. You will have outstanding communication skills in English AND German, and be able to forge strong working relationships quickly. A business degree or equivalent experience (Personalkaufmann/frau) is required and the role will involve occasional business travel.
